Another focus of the fund is the Logan Bauman Memorial Hawks Football Sponsorship. The Parker Hawks Football sponsorship assists 10 year old athletes with entry fee costs and some additional funds to help with equipment purchases. The applications are reviewed and selected by the Parker Hawks organization based on financial need.End of the Year Award
Each year, at the end of the AYL Football Season, a 'Spirit of the Game' award is given to a player that most closely matches Logan’s football profile from each Parker Hawks 10 year old CFC or AFC Parker Hawks football team. These players are nominated by their individual coaches and are selected head coach of each of these teams selects the player to receive this award. Winners receive the award at half-time of the AYL 10-AFC Super Bowl game. The recipients of this award have an additional opportunity to receive a $250 Logan Bauman Memorial Fund Sponsorship. Sponsorship winner is based on how well the recipient matches the characteristics for which this award was created. The winner is announced via email to the head coach of each team and the Parker Youth Sports coordinator.
